Slate, All Saint's Church, Fordham & Ash Green
Slate is good for plaques and memorials, allowing a lot of expression and precision in letterforms. It is also a material which resists weathering very well, and in spite of its dark colour has great warmth. This plaque was made for the paved path leading to a garden of remembrance for the interment of ashes.
